Choosing the right place to study is as important as finding the right course! The UK has two types of universities – city and campus institutions, with each giving their students very different lifestyle and learning experiences. In this panel, students will discuss the differences between the two and what appealed to them about each. This is a chance for you to decide would you prefer the bustle of the city or the close community of a campus university? This session is hosted with Millie Group.

MillieLaunched in 2019, Millie Group are the exciting new player in the online tutoring and university admissions support marketplace. Their focus is providing services to the global community of six million (and growing) international school students, either directly or in partnership with their school counsellors. Based in New York, London and Hong Kong, the company is the brainchild of co-founders Jenna Ahn, Giuseppe Iademarco and Ariel Lau who set out to bring their own life experience to create the guidance and support that they would like to have received as young students. The team has a fierce collective belief that no matter where in the world students are based, they should be able to apply for universities in any other country with ease. Their portfolio ranges from entry level essay writing and tutoring products to fully customised 121 programmes designed around the needs of the student, but the reason that the brand stands out in the sector is that every service is delivered by their empathetic team of mentors and underpinned through a smart app, which work together to keep students on track with their goals. Inclusivity is also key to the company’s ethos – they provide informative free content and offer pro bono support each year to several students without the necessary means to pay for services.
