Information

Penn State has 20 campuses that range in size from 500 to 46,000 students, and they all offer the same high-quality academics, vibrant student life, and unique opportunities. No matter where you start or finish, you will earn a world-class Penn State degree.

When researching your educational options, here are some of the many reasons international students choose to study at Penn State:

· We are ranked #12 in the US for overall enrollment of international students

·  We offer more than 275 academic programs, many of which are ranked in both the US and the world: https://admissions.psu.edu/academics/majors/

· An active student life with over 1,200 clubs and organizations that are focused on academics, service, interest, and more

· A Global Programs office that serves as valuable resource for not only connecting international students but supporting them before, during, and after their time as a student: https://global.psu.edu/

· A world-class Career Services office that helps students earn internships and full-time employment after graduation: https://studentaffairs.psu.edu/career

· One of the most connected and successful alumni networks in the world, which will help open doors for students and keep them connected for life: https://www.alumni.psu.edu/

In addition to these outstanding reasons to attend Penn State, we also offer academic flexibility to our students through our 2+2 plan. About 50% of our students participate in the 2+2 plan, which allows students to start almost all of Penn State’s degrees at one campus and then finish their degree at another, typically University Park. This makes the Penn State degree more accessible and cost-effective for all students.

The application is now open for all students, with an early action deadline of November 1 for both international and domestic students. Penn State encourages all international students to apply by the early action deadline for the best chance of admission, but to apply no later than February 1.
